Excited for Christmas

Well see how our camera is broken I have decide to share some pictures of our past Christmas'. They kids are getting so excited. We started our advent tree today where the kids get to take a bag off the tree and take out a treat or a cheap little present. So today was the first day and they had so much fun. I am not sure they really understand that much yet because wanted to open more then just one. He will catch on soon. There is only one thing that I am missing this Christmas season and that in SNOW!!! I can't wait to get a lot of the white stuff that will stay on the ground so that we can go out and play. Shane is done class on the 12th so it will be fun to have him home and not worried about exams or harder classes to come. Have I said how excited I am for Christmas I think it might be harder for me to go to sleep this year then when I was a kid. Well Merry Christmas and hopefully we get a new camera soon so I don't miss out on some great pictures of the kids and my big belly.

Ultra Sound

Well it has been so long since I have done anything on here so I am now going to start trying to do better. Today was our ultrasound and it went great. We had a guy do it that knew a lot and was very fast. Fast is important when you have a full bladder and they insist on pushing on it. That should have a post of its own. But the baby is doing great. It looks like it is 20 weeks along and as far as he could see everything is functioning the way it should be. YA!!! We feel so blessed to have this little on its way to our family and to be doing so well after all it has been through already in its short life so far. For those that don't know, when I was 9 weeks Pregnant I had my appendix out. It went good and we have just been waiting for this day to see that our child has all its fingers and toes and that it is healthy as for as we can know for now. We are very blessed and can't wait to have a new member of our little family.

AWESOME

Well I thought I would put up a quick post to let you all know how much we are enjoying our holiday. It is a wonderful place and has been so great to be here. The stories about the people and the homes that are here are very interesting and touching. It has also been fun being here with my parents. They are so lucky to be here and to be able to stay for so long. It really takes some time to take it all in here. We will post some pics and maybe some of our favourite things when we get home. I don't think I can say that I have been on a holiday where I was excited to go home but it will be hard to leave family and also this very special place where so much history took place.

The Count down is ON!!

Well we are all starting to get pretty excited and are counted down how many sleeps left till we get to go and visit Grandpa and Grandma Hardy. We are also very excited to see all the sites there in Nauvoo. So as of tonight 4 more sleeps. The kids aren't quite sure. Kale keeps say "airplane scary, and then he says all better." He is most excited about see his grandparents and he always says that him and Grandpa are going to hit golf balls in the water. We also just got a call last night from Bishop Quinton that he would like us to share our experiences the sunday after we get home. That should make preparing a talk a little bit easier. We are so excited for the knowledge we will gain and the spirit that we will feel well we are there. I am EXCITED IF anybody can't tell. NAUVOO HERE WE COME!!!

Blanket #2

Here is my second Ragged blanket I have made. I love them the are fun to make and look so cute when they are done. My first was for Ava my niece for her Baptism and this big one I made for my Friend Deanna. They had just lost there little baby boy a little after he was born. So I thought that something comforting would be nice anyway. So for those that wanted to see it and didn't get too, here it is. I still have a couple to make but I am excited to keep up the fun sewing.

HAIR

Hair is a very precious thing to our children. They don't seem to have much of it early on in life. But he are so happy that Livy's is growing much faster then Kale's ever did. The other day I thought I would try to scrunch her hair becuase it is kind of kinkie and looks like it wants to curl but might be to dry. Any way it turned out pretty cute and she looked like a pretty little girl. It is fun to have some hair to play around with. She didn't like it much but well that is the story of a girls life. I just hope that the top will start growing some time soon. But we love her anyway and she lights up our lifes. She has such a personality it is fun to watch her. Good thing she has a great big brother to keep her happy.

BEST BABY SITTER

I have to tell you this little story. When we got home from Okotoks we had quite a few messages on the answering machine. One was from Grandma Orr saying that they want to come out to the temple. But it was from Thursday night and so we figured they had already come. But called wanted to call and talk any like always. So we called and they hadn't come to the temple but because we were home they would come tonight being Saturday. So we were all so excited to see Grandpa and Grandma and they brought Uncle Brody with them. SO Shane and I went to the temple as well that night with them. Brody was happy to watch both of our kids for us like always. So off we went, and it was so nice. It is always great to be able to go together but also with parents or family. When we got home everybody seemed to be just fine. Then Brody told us what happened well we were gone. Oliva has been a little runny out the back end lately and she pooped not only up her back to all the way to her neck and shoulders. So he gave her a bath changed her and then play Wii with them. He did so great and we are so glad that he already know that he is going to make some pretty women really happy someday. He will be a great dad and a great helper. We always feel like our kids are in good hands when Uncle Brody is around. Thank You Brody you are great. I am sure we will all have some great laughs about this for a little while. YOU ARE AWESOME AND WE LOVE YOU!

FUN weekend with the Anderson Family

We had a great weekend with the Anderson Family. We went to Okotoks to go and visit and have some fun with Friday being a day off for Shane. So Johanna and Russ took us to this cool Skating Rink in the Mountains. It is actually a Helicopter pad that has been flooded up in the Kananaskis. They kids had a great time and so did the adults. It was nice to have it all to our selves. Very FUn and Pretty as well. This is what living in Canada is all about. Then it was off for some lunch. And of course it wasn't even a choice, off to the Olive Garden. Not only was the food GREAT!!! as ever but the serves was awesome. We had the greatest waiter ever! Our last stop on our very eventful day was the ZOO. The kids loved the animals, feeding the ducks, and just walking around with one another. I loved watching the Himpo swim in the water. They are so fun to watch. It was a very fun time. I think I remember Jada even saying "skating, a resturant, and the zoo all in one day. I have never done 3 fun things all in one day before." It was great. The kids were so tried and ful it was home to bed and the adults watched a movie. Saturday morning Johy and I went to the Mall quick to buy the kiddies some clothes and then it was time to head home. We had such and great time. And we can't wait to do it again. Thank You, Thank You.

Decorating Cookies

For FHE we made Valentines cookies and then shared them with family that lived around our neighbour hood. Kale loved icing them and putting on the sprinkles. WE all had a really fun time. Livy liked eating everything she even like the spicy red hearts. That girl will eat anything. Then it was time to clean up and get the kids ready for bed. I just love their Christmas PJ so I thought it would be fun to take some pictures of them together in them. They are sitting in our new 1 1/2 chair. It is such a fun piece of furniture to have. I can sit in it comfortably with both kids. So fun. Happy Valentine's Day to everybody sorry we can't take cookies to you all.

First Dentist Visit

No pictures this time. But Well it was Kale's first visit to the Dentist and he did great. The Hygenist said that he was the best 2 year old she had ever worked on. I am sure they say that to them all but I thought he did great. He sat in the big chair, laid back, and then he let her count all his teeth. She then asked him if she could polish his feet and if he could open really big so that the polish tool and the vacuum could fit in his mouth. He said Yes and opened really big. He sat through the whole thing. He ended up letting the Dentist check him out after and then they took him to the prize drawer. He picked a little neft gun so that he could shoot his Dad when he got home from work. We were so glad that it went so well and that he thought it was so much fun. When we got in the car to go home he had to stop by Brookie's house to tell her all about it and show his prize, his new tooth brush, flose, and tooth brushing timer. He was pretty proud of himself. Next on the list the Eye Doctor. I can't decide which one. the one in Lethbridge or Redmond. I guess only time will tell.

1 Years Old

WOW it has been so long since we I have posted anything. I guess I just haven't had much time but I am feeling a little more organized so I will have to get back into the swing of things. Here are some shots of Olivia's 1st birthday party. It was great and thanks to all those who were here. She is getting so big and growing up way to fast for my liking. She surprises us somedays with a random word and some of the things she has picked up from her big brother. We love her and are so lucky to have her here with us.
